RULES OF PLAY FOR THURSDAY 2nd JUNE 9am
ALL PLAYERS TO BOWL ONE WOOD AT TARGET.
NOTE: Only 3 shots may be won on any end. If more than 3 shots are scored, those shots must be given to the opponent.
End 1 Played as a normal full length end. Mat on 2 metre mark and jack on Tee.
End 2 Mat brought up to last spot on rink and Jack placed on Tee and bowl your potato.
End 3 Only bowls behind the jack are to be left in play. All bowls short of the Jack must be removed immediately they come to rest.
End 4 Played as normal ends. Jack placed 1 foot from ditch.
End 5 All right handed players must bowl left-handed. Left-handed players must bowl right-handed
Ends 6 All bowls behind the Jack must be removed. Only bowls in front of Jack are to be left in play
TIME FOR TEA
End 7 Played as a normal end. Mat on the Tee, Jack on the 23 metre line.
Ends 8 All bowls must be played before the Jack is delivered. The lead, who won the previous end, must return to the mat and cast the Jack to finish the end and Jack must be placed at same finishing length but on the centre line.
Ends 9 Normal end but only Potato within 1 metre stay in play, all others are removed after each Potato.
Ends 10 Bowl 1 wood with right hand, 1 with left.
End 12 Played as normal end, but bowl with opponents woods.
End 13 Stand facing the ditch behind you, and bowl through your legs.
ALL PLAYERS TO BOWL ONE WOOD AT TARGET.
