SUMMER 2026 FRIENDLY MATCH RESULTS

Our last summer season friendly match was today – 12th September.  A BIG thanks to all those who took part this season, especially to our newer players for putting yourselves up for selection. We hope you have all enjoyed the matches and will continue to put your names forward for selection.  The new season starts on the 3rd October with a mixture of Kent Invicta Triples League (KITL), Friendlies and internal competitions.  The KITL teams will be selected from our strongest players available – we are the defending champions! The numerous friendlies will be available to everyone for selection.

06/05 v Swale home.  116 – 75 WIN!  5 rinks won, 1 lost. 🥳  Top rink was Jan Gregory, Eric White and Bob Girdler 👏

10/6 v Swale away.  95 – 79 WIN!  4 rinks won, 2 lost. 🥳  Top rink Carole Turner, Eric White and Bob Girdler (Capt.) 👏 

17/06 v Prince Arthur home.  119 – 78 WIN!  3 rinks won, 1 drawn, 2 lost.🥳 Top rink Val and Jeff Axford and Andy Spain who played his first match for the club.  Well done Andy. 👏

24/06 v Ashford away.  91 – 106 LOSS ☹️  2 rinks won, 4 lost.  Top rink Dave Darrall, Sue Smith and Bob Girdler.  Six new people played for the club, Dave Darrall, Mike Doyle, Keith Martin, Dave Groombridge, Chris and Anthony Proctor.  Well done to you all, hope you enjoyed the game and will continue to volunteer for the matches. 👏

18/07 v Oyster home.  102 – 85 WIN!  4 rinks won, 2 lost. 🥳 Top rink Jim Roll, Sue Smith, George Buckmaster.  Thanks to all those that participated and a special thanks to Lynette and Ken for stepping in at short notice.
